Jennifer LeBeau
Bio
Dr. LeBeau joins Baumgarten Law Offices PLLC as our first non-lawyer mediator, having strong ties to the Palouse and the Pacific Northwest. Born and raised on a farm located 20 minutes from Spokane, WA, and Coeur d’Alene, ID, Dr. LeBeau graduated from Freeman High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Idaho. She later attained master’s and doctoral degrees in education from Washington State University.
Having informally resolved several disputes during her time as a higher ed faculty member, program evaluator, and administrator, Dr. LeBeau shifted career tracks in 2025 to pursue formal certification as a mediator. She is now a Nationally Certified Professional in Mediation (NCPM) with over 100 hours of mediation training, including 80 hours of Basic Mediation Training (BMT), 24 hours of Family Mediation Training (FMT), and several hours of continuing education in other mediation-related topics. She is also currently enrolled in a practicum program with the Volunteers of America for Western Washington and plans to become certified by the Washington and Idaho Mediation Associations.
Dr. LeBeau mediates personal, family, and workplace disputes using facilitative strategies grounded in neutrality and respect. She maintains active membership in the dispute resolution sections of the American Bar Association and the Washington and Idaho State Bar Associations. She is also a member of the Washington and Idaho Mediation Associations and the National Association of Certified Mediators (NACM). Her goal is to help parties communicate more effectively so they can preserve relationships and reach mutually beneficial agreements.
